SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: Note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals; the 55th Contracting Squadron, Offutt Air Force Base, NE, is seeking information for market research purposes only for the following services listed below:
This is a Sources Sought announcement. The 55 Contracting Squadron intends to contract one (1) contractor who can supply Victor Stanley C-10 Benches and C- 9 Picnic Tables; or similar. And provide labor stated in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
The designated NAICS code is 339920 and a size standard of 750 Employees.
Your response shall include the following information:
• A Quote for 8 Picnic Tables (Victor Stanley C-9 Picnic Tables; or similar), 6 Benches (Victor Stanley C-10 Benches; or similar), and labor costs.• Size of company (i.e., 8(a), HUBZONE, WOSB, Veteran Owned, Small Disadvantaged Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, etc.), • Relevant past performance on same/similar work dating back to the last three (3) years and your company's capability to do this type of work.• Teaming Arrangements to include relevant past performance on same/similar work dating back to the last three (3) years.
Documentation of technical expertise and capability must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition (see Statement of Work below). It is imperative that business concerns responding to this sources sought articulate their capabilities clearly and adequately.

IF A SOLICITATION IS ISSUED IT WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT A LATER DATE, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement.
STATEMENT OF WORK OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASEParade Grounds Picnic Tables & Benches Project10/31/2018
Location: Work will be conducted at Offutt AFB Base Parade Grounds.
Period of Performance: All work shall be done between the hours of 7am and 5pm Monday thru Friday. The project must be completed no later than 31 Dec 2018.
Schedule: The contractor will provide the Contracting Officer (CO) or Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) with a written work schedule for approval before any work is performed.
Work Included: Contractor shall perform the following
1. Contractor shall: purchase, provide and deliver all equipment, hardware, tools required for installation of Victor Stanley C-9 picnic tables and C-10 benches or similar product. Wooden Slats should be made of compost material and bases should be cast iron. Color of the wooden slats will be chosen a later time.2. Contractor shall:a. Remove and dispose of existing picnic tables and benchesb. Assemble and install new tables and benchesc. Drill and anchor tables and benches into concrete padsd. Clean off concrete pads of any dirt or debrise. Remove wood edging and fill with dirt around the padsf. Contractor shall: Remove and dispose of existing picnic tables, benches and edging
Workmanship: Contractor shall perform all work in accordance with all local, state, and federal laws, regulations and building codes. Contractor is responsible for all measurements and permits for proper installation. All work shall be done in accordance with all existing commercial standards.
Disposal: Contractor shall clean up and dispose of all related debris off Government property. Inspections: Government will perform pre-final and final inspectionprior to completion of project Materials and Equipment:1. Government will provide specified locatfon for picnic tables and park benches2. Government will provide picnic tables and park benches specifications3. Contractor will provide the proper tools and equipment for the required work.4. Government will ensure the area is open and available for contractor to perform work between 7am and 5pm Monday thru Friday, excluding Holidays.5. Contractor must notify Project Coordinator on days available to work on specified area at least 3 business days in advance.6. Contractor is required to contact the Project Coordinator for a site survey to ensure all total scope of the project is understood. Site survey will be at no expense to the government.
Warranty: All labor will be under warranty for 1 year for workmanship and repairs
